Multi-Party Video Calling allows up to four callers to meet visually and communicate together naturally, without a moderator or a “push-to-talk” requirement. The initiator simply selects the people they want to be in the conference from their “Contact List.” The selected people will receive an incoming call or email notification that a conference is about to begin.

Not only is Video Mail more personal than email or voice mail, but it is another way to reach out to people when they are not available for a one-to-one video call. Members simply record their video message using SightSpeed and then enter the email addresses of those they want to receive it. Recipients will get an email that contains a link to the recorded video message. When recipients click on the link, they will see and hear the message immediately.

Another enhancement included in SightSpeed 3.0 is My SightSpeed. When members are logged into SightSpeed, anyone can call them simply by entering the SightSpeed member’s My SightSpeed address, such as johnsmith.sightspeed.com, into their Internet Explorer browser. The other person does not need to be a SightSpeed member and they pay nothing for the video call. With My SightSpeed, members can have a video call with anyone in the world who is online. If the other person does not have a camera, My SightSpeed can be used for one-way video (and two-way audio) calls.
