Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines kicks Off ‘Catskills in the Caribbean’

June 30, 2003 -- The National Center for Jewish Cultural Arts, in association with Cruise One and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, announces the debut voyage of "Catskills in the Caribbean," starring Friar's Club dean Freddie Roman, television comedy star, Jack Carter and Avi Hoffman, star of the public television program "Too Jewish?" on Royal Caribbean's Enchantment of the Sea, January 5-10, 2004.

On the heels of the Broadway hit show "Catskills on Broadway", creator and star Freddie Roman has teamed up with Jack Carter and Avi Hoffman to recreate the Catskills experience on a six day five night cruise, departing Ft. Lauderdale January 5th, 2004 to the Caribbean Islands with stops in Key West, Cozumel and Belize.

With a full line of entertainers, comedy, music and of course, plenty of food, this cruise promises to be an absolute delight -- providing hilarious recreations of life in the Catskill Mountains, which became famous as the summer resort of choice for millions of Americans, and the breeding ground for some of the greatest entertainers in America.
