Razor Triumphs at Toy Fair
Popular Scooters Named Best Spring/Summer Toy of the Year by the Toy Manufacturers of America and a Top Toy of 2000 by Specialty Retailer Magazine
The Razor scooter was named the Best Spring/Summer Toy of the Year by The Toy Manufacturers of America (TMA) during the first annual T.O.T.Y (Toy of the Year) Awards Ceremony, February 10 at New York's Cipriani. The popular scooters were also named one of Specialty Retailer Magazine's Tops Toys of 2000 in the Spring and Summer category. One of the top-selling items of the year, Razor scooters were seen from the streets of New York to the California boardwalks as America caught scooter fever in 2000.

The TMA'S Spring/Summer Toy of the Year Award recognized toys designed for outdoor play, primarily focused on the summer months. Other nominees in the category included: Air Hogs Line, Storm Water Guns, Switch Board by Fisher-Price and Wave Hoop.
Each year, the reader's of Specialty Retailer Magazine vote on the Top Toys of the Year. In the February 2001 issue, Razor was awarded Top Toy of the Year 2000 in the "Spring and Summer" category.
Razor USA will exhibit at Toy Fair, booth # 5969 at the Javits Convention Center, February 11-15. The Company will unveil its newest models available at retail this spring, including the A3W, a dual-suspension model ($149.99), and the E, a sleek scooter with a re-chargeable battery pack ($329.99).
