Priceline.com Offers Last-Minute Bargains For March Getaways

March 3, 2004--Who says you have to be a college student to benefit from a late-winter vacation? Priceline.com said today that it still has plenty of last-minute deals and savings for March getaways. With priceline.com's expanded lineup of travel services, vacationers can book everything from a long weekend to an extended stay far from winter's doldrums.

Also today, priceline.com released its latest survey of the top 50 most-requested destinations for spring break and March 2004. This list is based on over 30,000 booking requests made on priceline.com for check-in dates in March. For the second consecutive month, the Las Vegas Strip was the most-requested destination, with Miami's South Beach coming in second. Warm weather destinations took 33 spots on the top 50 list. Florida was the clear warm-weather leader with 17 spots. And, as expected, traditional spring break hot spots like Daytona Beach, Ft.
