Priceline.com Offers Last-Minute Bargains For March GetawaysMarch 3, 2004--Who says you have to be a college student to benefit from a late-winter vacation? Priceline.com said today that it still has plenty of last-minute deals and savings for March getaways. With priceline.com's expanded lineup of travel services, vacationers can book everything from a long weekend to an extended stay far from winter's doldrums. Also today, priceline.com released its latest survey of the top 50 most-requested destinations for spring break and March 2004. This list is based on over 30,000 booking requests made on priceline.com for check-in dates in March. For the second consecutive month, the Las Vegas Strip was the most-requested destination, with Miami's South Beach coming in second. Warm weather destinations took 33 spots on the top 50 list. Florida was the clear warm-weather leader with 17 spots. And, as expected, traditional spring break hot spots like Daytona Beach, Ft. Lauderdale, Palm Springs, Scottsdale and Key West made their way onto the list. The complete list is attached at the end of the release.
