Palm Announces Availability of MyPalm Portal

12/27/2000 -- Palm yesterday announced the availability of the MyPalm portal, a new personal information service accessible via the web or wirelessly through the MyPalm downloadable web clipping application -- currently in beta. The MyPalm portal gives users the freedom to access and manage their personal data, whether sitting at their desktop or connecting wirelessly through their handheld.
With the web clipping application, information is formatted specifically for handheld screens, enabling easy, clear and virtually instantaneous access for the user. This move represents a large step forward in Palm's vision of delivering personal information and the best of web-based content wirelessly to handheld devices.
