July 2004 -- Ultralife Batteries has introduced a Lithium Ion rechargeable battery designed for digital cameras and other handheld electronic devices. The UBBP04 (653450/PCM cell size) is an easy to handle battery pack that can assemble quickly and easily into various applications. With flat contacts and a thermistor for monitoring charging temperature, this battery is ideal for digital cameras, battery pack VADs and various other OEMs that manufacture handheld electronic devices.

The UBBP04 is an ideal power solution for customers considering Lithium Ion batteries for their applications because of its excellent performance and safety features, and its convenience for rapid assembly. Its well-defined flat contacts provide a high quality, low impedance interface with no soldering or welding required during assembly, which aid in the reduction of assembly costs.

Several battery packs can be connected in series or parallel to provide higher voltage or capacity performance.
