January 13, 2003– LG Electronics, a leading global consumer products manufacturer and the number one global manufacturer of microwave ovens, is proud to introduce the LG Glide & Cook microwave oven. The Glide & Cook, which is developed by LG Electronics, will make meal preparation easier and more convenient for its users. It features the unique sliding tray system that allows consumers to cook food in 10 x 15” rectangular dishes instead of being restricted to using round dishes with conventional turntable microwaves.

The Glide & Cook microwave oven features a rectangular sliding tray system that moves left to right for optimal space usage. Together with the Inverter Technology, a new even heating system, consistent cooking is ensured. Now consumers don’t have to hover over their microwave stopping it every few minutes to stir and rotate large dishes during cooking. The Glide & Cook provides effective cooking, fast.
