Kyocera Re-Introduces the T4 with a Zoom Lens

October 2002 -- Kyocera Optics, Inc., announces the newest addition to Yashica's acclaimed and popular T4 series of point and shoot cameras: the Yashica T4 Zoom. Sleek and elegant in design, this popular camera now sports a Carl Zeiss T* Vario Tessar 28-70mm f/4.5-8 Zoom Lens, ensuring the highest of quality with every photo taken.

The T4 Zoom will appeal to a broad range of photographers from beginner to advanced. In addition to offering many of the features found on earlier T4 models, the new T4 Zoom offers a number of exciting additions not found on most point and shoot cameras. These include a built-in diopter for eyeglass wearers and exposure compensation, which allows a photographer to manually increase or decrease the amount of exposure the camera has automatically chosen. The camera also comes with a long-time exposure mode, perfect for shooting night scenes and special effects. In addition, a photographer can decide to take advantage of the five-point auto focus or the spot focus for more creative control.

The T4 Zoom includes a built-in date back with an LCD display and quartz clock that makes it easy to remember when that special photo was taken. Even more, rushing to get into the photo is a thing of the past as the T4 Zoom comes complete with an infrared wireless remote control.

A five-mode auto flash system is incorporated into the camera and features, auto flash, red-eye reduction auto flash, flash-off night portrait, fill-in flash and landscape. An aluminum front cover makes this compact camera rugged, yet lightweight. A deluxe carrying case with a pocket for the remote control is also included.

The street price for the Yashica T4 Zoom camera is $199.95. For retail locations, visit the company's website at www.yashica.com.
