Infogrames Builds Up Best-Selling Thomas & Friends Interactive Line with Additio

July 31 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/-- Peep! Peep! Infogrames, Inc. (Nasdaq: IFGM) and Gullane Entertainment have announced that a new Thomas & Friends CD-ROM game will pull into the station later this summer. Thomas & Friends: Building the New Line will be the newest addition to the award-winning Thomas Interactive CD-ROM series. This new CD-ROM game lets children design and build tracks for the first time while they experience the world of Thomas and his Island of Sodor.

The Thomas & Friends Railway Adventures CD-ROM Keytop Playset, the Trouble on the Tracks CD-ROM game and the Great Festival Adventure CD-ROM game have helped build the success of the franchise. In 2001, the Thomas & Friends: Railway Adventures CD-ROM Keytop Playset finished fourth (in dollars) in the overall children's games category for the year, according to data collected by NPD Techworld.

In Thomas & Friends: Building the New Line, the Island of Sodor is busier than ever with shipments to ship, buildings to build and cargo to transport. The engines need children's help to lay down new tracks and customize the surroundings with buildings and landscaping that complete the scene. Once they click into "play" mode, they can watch their creation come to life right before their eyes as they drive Thomas and his friends around the track. There is plenty of work to be done and surprises around every turn.

Developed by Stunt Puppy Entertainment, Thomas & Friends: Building the New Line for Win/Mac is appropriate for ages 3 and up and will be available in September 2002 for an approximate retail price of $19.95. The Thomas & Friends Railway Adventures CD-ROM Keytop Playset ($39.95), Thomas & Friends: Trouble on the Tracks ($19.95) and Thomas & Friends: The Great Festival Adventure ($9.95) CD-ROM games are all currently available at retail and are suited for ages 3 and up.
