ImageMatics Introduces StillMotion Creator

Feb. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- ImageMatics, a developer of animation creation tools and services for Internet developers and technology companies, just released StillMotion Creator, the first of several easy-to-use, professional quality tools for photographers and Web content creators. The ASP Product can be downloaded for $100 at http://www.imagematics.com. StillMotion Creator was designed to make high quality movies in Flash SWF format, using a scanner or digitized photographs from any source. The results are creative Internet movies of photographic images with a file size not significantly larger than the original still image. ImageMatics already has garnered interest from major metropolitan daily newspapers that can find new usage for their photo files or create journalistic Web pages with movement.

"This product provides professional photographers with opportunities to create new products for their clients from their exiting still photographs," explained Bill Strum, President of ImageMatics. "Any digitized image can be turned into new revenue opportunities as now photographs can be converted easily and quickly into 'pan and zoom' movies. The images can be saved as Flash files, in Internet video format or as high resolution output for professional video and HDTV."

With StillMotion, the software allows the photographer to simulate a professional animation stand, in which the camera moves around the picture. Photographers can now animate their portfolios, re-purpose photographs for commercial use, or even sell animated photo albums to clients, said Strum. "We want to talk to people who make a living in the photo business," he said. "Photographers can now re-purpose their work for additional income."

ImageMatics is planning follow-on products to enhance Web site development and Internet content creation. Pricing is expected to be about $100. Currently, StillMotion Creator is available as an ASP download from the company's Web site: http://www.imagematics.com .
