ILFORD IMAGING Launches CAFE ILFOPRO

CAFÉ ILFOPRO—A Meeting Place for Professional Photographers in North America October, 2001 -- ILFORD Imaging, a world leader in the development, manufacturing and marketing of professional digital imaging products, is pleased to announce the launch of “CAFÉ ILFOPRO.”

Established as an internet meeting place where members can discuss everything from technical questions to the latest trends in professional photography, CAFÉ ILFOPRO is designed to provide it’s members with a broad spectrum of informational resources all from the globally recognized name in photographic excellence, ILFORD Imaging.

Café ILFOPRO is exclusive to members only, but membership is free and easy! A simple click of the mouse will now allow you to gain access to the ILFOPRO Newsletter. The printed version of the ILFOPRO Newsletter was developed in 1993 for the ILFOPRO Photographer’s Association and is mailed to U.S. and Canadian members. The newsletter offers conversations with well-known photo professionals, provides technical assistance and promotes the sharing of ideas among the photo/digital community.

Technical Info
Café ILFOPRO has been designed to leave no technical question un-answered. There are Fact Sheets in downloadable form, information on the handling and use of ILFORD products, developing times for films and even development charts for reference as often as you need it. ILFORD Tech Support is of course always available by email if you haven’t found an “instant” answer in the provided ILFOPRO links.

Select a topic and see what members are talking about. Chat groups have already begun discussing Ink Jet and Digital Imaging, Black and White Photography, Large Format Photography, and Pinhole Photography, just to name a few of the technical discussions. Feel free to join in on the Photography and Critique forum where discussions on photography in general, images and aesthetics are the topics from the non-technical point-of-view. Postcard Forum—Get Noticed!
The ILFORD Postcard Forum welcomes members to submit their latest images. The ILFORD ILFOPRO staff will review all postcards and will make their selections based on technical quality and general aesthetics. Images that are selected for the Postcard Forum will receive a box of PORTFOLIO postcard paper in the surface of their choice.
