Hunter: The Reckoning Wayward Is on the Way
Jan. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Interplay Entertainment Corp. (BULLETIN BOARD: IPLY) and Vivendi Universal Games today announced the development of Hunter: The Reckoning Wayward for the PlayStation2 computer entertainment system. Hunter: The Reckoning Wayward, developed by High Voltage Software, continues the story of the successful action adventure franchise Hunter: The Reckoning. High-speed action combined with top-notch graphics translate the dark fantasy world of the White Wolf role-playing game and bring the essence of the game to life, fully submerging the player into the realm of The World of Darkness. Wayward comes to the PlayStation2 this summer with an all new story, game-play features, weapons and terrifying monsters.
"We are thrilled to bring the Hunter: The Reckoning franchise to PlayStation2 consumers with an all-new gaming experience. The team has enjoyed stepping up to the challenge and surpassing the previous Hunter experience to make this a unique experience for this platform," said Jim Molitor, Vice President of Production for Interplay.
Welcome back to the sleepy town of Ashcroft, where two years ago a supernatural evil was destroyed by four Hunters. In the last two years the town has put the past behind them...or so they thought. A cult has formed underground and now two years later events reminiscent of the past have begun to occur. After receiving a distress call from a mysterious new Hunter, the four original Hunters realize they must return to the town. Evil has again resurfaced and the Hunters are Ashcroft's only hope of deliverance.
