Have Fun Paddling In Comfort With Crazy Creek Chairs

March 2004 – An uncomfortable seat and sore back can quickly put an end to a day on the water! Thankfully, there are Crazy Creek Canoe and Kayak Chairs - comfy enough for all-day paddling and dubbed by some dedicated enthusiasts as “some of the most comfortable paddling chairs on the market.”

Crazy Creek offers five styles durable enough to withstand the harsh conditions of sun, wind and water and still provide lots of cush for the tush.

THE WATER LINE - With input from experienced paddlers, the Crazy Creek Water Line is specifically designed to provide all-day comfort and make one’s canoe or kayak experience the best it can be. Styles include:

  • S.O.T. Kayak Chair II (retail $54) – For sit-on-top kayaks, the chair has 4 swivel-clips (brass & plastic included) and a handy zippered compartment on the back. The chair is easily detachable and transportable, going from kayak to camp in minutes.
  • S.O.T. Kayak Chair III (retail $64) – The gold standard for kayak chairs, the S.O.T. Kayak III features a taller, adjustable back ergonomically contoured to provide exceptional back support, and is easy to detach for use on the shore. The Kayak Chair III also features a zippered back pocket designed to hold a full 70 oz. hydration system – a bonus for any thirsty paddler. (Both Kayak chairs come in black, red hibiscus, blue hibiscus, or new lime hibiscus print ).
  • Canoe Chair (retail $30) – Featuring a full 1 ½ ” closed-cell foam seat and mesh accessory back pocket, the Canoe Chair is designed to fit comfortably in most canoes.
  • Canoe Chair II (retail $32) – Similar to the Canoe Chair, but with an additional 4” height in back for extra support.
  • Canoe Chair III (retail $36.50) - With a quick release buckle system, this chair fits molded contoured canoe seats. (Canoe chairs are offered in navy blue, forest green, and the Canoe I and II are also offered in a red/navy combination)

ACCESSORIES FOR ENHANCED COMFORT - The new Canoe Air Pad features patented Air-Comfort Technology, adjusting the desired firmness and support with the touch of a button. The Canoe Air Pad offers easy inflation and deflation, and has two adjustable straps to easily attach to most canoe seats. It’s available in forest green, navy and black and retails for $16.

Convenient Canoe Storage Bags attach compactly under the seat to store refreshments, sunscreen, maps, fishing gear, etc. Canoe Storage Bags are water-resistant, and available in small, medium and large sizes (ranging from $14 - $18 retail), and offered in either navy blue or forest green.

And don’t forget to keep those hands warm on cold mornings with the Crazy ThermaBand, a patented handwarmer that includes a soft fleece wristband with a pocket to hold the air-activated, long lasting, thermal Hot Pad. The Crazy ThermaBand prevents arteries from constricting and increases blood flow – keeping hands and fingers warmer.
