Golfers Warm Up Their Game with Montelago Village Resort Winter Golf Package

November 2004— MonteLago Village Resort, Lake Las Vegas is offering an Unlimited Winter Golf package for golfers who can't get enough of the game or of Southern Nevada's pleasant winter temperatures.

The all-you-can play package, available for a limited time through January 10, 2005, starts at only $172 per person, double occupancy. The package provides one-night luxury accommodations and unlimited golf on two championship courses, both named one of the "Top Ten You Can Play" by Golf Magazine.

MonteLago Village will make tee times for the first round at Reflection Bay Golf Club or The Falls Golf Club. For only a $25 cart fee, guests can then play additional rounds at either Lake Las Vegas course the same day as long as tee times are available.

After finishing their pursuit of the elusive hole in one, golfers can relax at MonteLago Village Resort where they'll receive one-night deluxe accommodations in a studio condominium. Taxes and gratuities are included in the package price. Additional nights, which include 2 rounds of golf for $172.00 per person, also are available. The package is not available December 30, 2004 – January 2, 2005.

Guests will play on one of two courses that combine challenging layouts with the stunning beauty of the desert. Reflection Bay Golf Club is a 7,261-yard, par 72 Jack Nicklaus signature course with lakeside holes plus fairways that weave their way through the desert. The layout is sculpted from the terrain with natural contours featuring strategic bunkering and pristine greens. Despite the desert ambiance, the course has plenty of water features, including three waterfalls and five holes located along 11⁄2 miles of Lake Las Vegas shoreline.

Tom Weiskopf's The Falls, a 7,250-yard, par 72 course, features a varied terrain that includes mountainous landscape and the desert floor. This variation creates elevation changes ranging from subtle on the front nine to dramatic on the back nine. Throughout the course, the usage of water is a prominent theme, creating breathtaking scenery and challenging hazards.

At MonteLago Village Resort, high desert mountains and a deep blue lake replace high-rise mega resorts. Lake Las Vegas appeals to travelers searching for an alternative to the characteristic glitz and glamour of the Strip by offering a desert lakeside oasis reminiscent of a Mediterranean seaside resort. In addition, worldclass shops and fine dining catering to nearly every taste, MonteLago Village is centrally located to an array of outdoor activities, including sailing, fishing, and hiking.
