September 20, 2005 - GE Profile helps serve your complete meal fresh, warm and straight from the oven. A new convenient lower oven or a versatile fifth center oval burner makes the new GE Profile Free Standing Gas Ranges a hot choice for your cooking needs.

Delivering a large, warm meal to the table has never been easier. A new 1.0 cubic foot capacity lower oven offers baking and warming capabilities up to 450 degrees. Combined with the 5.0 cubic foot capacity standard oven, this provides 6.0 cubic feet of total baking space.

With a full-extension removable liner the lower oven is easy-to-clean. When not in use, the multi-functional space can be used for storage.

Whether boiling water or browning meat, the 6,000 BTU fifth center oval burner delivers cooking flexibility. Its standard grate removes easily to accommodate a non-stick, dishwasher-safe griddle that is included with the range.

The Power Boilâ„¢ burner has been upgraded on the new GE Profile Gas Range models. Now delivering 17,000 BTU's, the Power Boil burner delivers forceful heat for rapid boiling.

The lower oven will be available on model JGB918, dual-fuel model J2B918 and gas-on-glass model JGB928. The fifth center oval burner will be available on models JGB908, JGB916, JGB918 and dual-fuel model J2B918. These new GE Profile Free-Standing Gas Ranges are now available in Stainless steel, White on white, Bisque on bisque and Black on black. The estimated retail price range for these models is $1099-$1949.
