Ferrania Imaging Technologies Launches Gallery Leather Albums

September 12, 2001 — Ferrania Imaging Technologies is launching a line of leather-covered photo and scrapbook albums to expand its offerings of photographic-related products. The company specializes in providing tailor-made photographic solutions for retailers globally.

Ferrania’s albums and accessories are being introduced under the Gallery LeatherTM brand and will feature quality, handcrafted construction, manufactured in the U.S. to exacting bookmaking standards. Made from only premium grade bonded leathers, the albums are available in seven colors. The pocket pages are made using highest quality, acid-free film. Each page meets archival standards and contains no PVC. A complete line of refill pages, scrapbook sheets and other accessory products are available to support the line.

Ferrania Imaging Technologies offers a complete range of 35mm color print photographic films including ISO 100, 200, 400 and 800 speeds, and 35mm color slide film in 100 speed. The APS format comes in 200 and 400 speeds. Color print 110 film also is available.

Ferrania Imaging Technologies’ ready to use cameras – available in daylight, flash, underwater, panoramic and telephoto models – come preloaded with FG800 film. Also available later this year, models with semi-transparent bodies in neon colors, and cameras with transparent fronts that allow for a paper insert that can be customized easily for special promotions and events.

Inkjet media, developed to produce high-quality images in all inkjet printers, is manufactured in a variety of sizes and finishes designed to meet the needs of both consumers and professionals.

Film and ready to use camera products offered by Ferrania Imaging Technologies are marketed under the Solaris™ brand name, while the company’s expanded line of inkjet media is sold under the OptiJet™ brand name.
