Cuisinart Launches New Coffeemakers and Blenders
Jan. 2003 /PRNewswire/ -- As Americans continue to invest in commercial-quality products for the home, Cuisinart is once again at the forefront of product innovation with its new culinary appliances for 2003. The company is unveiling a new collection of coffeemakers and blenders with professional performance features at this month's International Housewares Show in Chicago. According to research conducted by NPD Online Services and reported in HomeWorld, one of the industry's leading trade publications, families today are specifically 'looking to bring home the qualities of life once attainable only from outside specialists.'
"Consumers want to replicate the taste of coffee from their neighborhood coffee bar," says Mary Rodgers, Director of Marketing Communications for Cuisinart. "As a result, we have made design enhancements to our best-selling Grind and Brew model with innovations based on the latest technology." The new Cuisinart Grind and Brew Thermal 10-Cup Automatic Coffeemaker (model no. DGB-600BC) grinds whole beans just before brewing, for the freshest tasting cup of coffee. The coffee then brews directly into a double walled stainless steel thermal carafe which keeps the coffee hot for up to six hours and also acts as a handsome serving piece. In addition, the coffeemaker has a charcoal water filter that removes impurities from the water, resulting in delicious tasting coffee-bar coffee without leaving home.
For consumers who like to entertain, Cuisinart is unveiling its new SmartPower Premier 600-Watt Blender (model no. CBT-500) at the International Housewares Show. The product has a 50-ounce glass blender jar that can accommodate large crowds on special occasions. The 600-watt motor handles the toughest blending tasks with ease, even ice crushing with the touch of a button. The new blender also features cast metal and stainless construction and is as powerful as it is attractive.
The everyday price is $149 for the Grind and Brew and $99 for the SmartPower blender. Both products are available immediately.
