Coleman Powermate Introduces New Pressure Washer Line-Up
After a three-year hiatus, Coleman Powermate unveiled its new line-up of gas-powered pressure washers today at the International Builders' Show in Atlanta.
"We went back to the drawing board and redesigned our entire line with quality being our top priority," said Krawczyk. "Our engineers subjected the new pressure washers through a battery of grueling tests to ensure they are manufactured at the utmost quality."
The power equipment manufacturer tested the new pressure washers for several months at its new state-of-the-art engineering testing center in Kearney, Neb. before starting production in mid-January.
Coleman Powermate is marketing the pressure washers in three series -- Premium, Premium Plus and Professional -- which vary in size, power and application.
Premium Series
Coleman Powermate's new Premium Series of pressure washers are ideal for light-duty jobs such as washing vehicles and boats and cleaning siding and walkways. Two vertical models in Premium Series are available with pounds per square inch (PSI) ratings of 1500 to 2100. The light-duty residential models are equipped with an adjustable nozzle and a 25-foot, thermal-plastic hose with a 1/4-inch diameter.
Premium Plus Series
The Premium Plus Series is designed for small commercial jobs or homeowners with larger needs such as washing patios and decks. The first available unit -- a 5-horsepower unit with 2400 PSI -- features a special wheelbarrow design for easy portability and is equipped with a 30-foot, thermal-plastic hose with a 1/4-inch diameter.
Professional Series
The Professional Series contains industrial-sized power to remove paint and stubborn stains and clean heavy equipment and concrete. Two horizontal models -- a 6.5-horsepower unit with 2700 PSI and a 11-horsepower unit with 3000 PSI -- both feature a special wheel barrow design and an attachable basket, making cleaners, tools and accessories within easy reach.
Coleman Powermate is also introducing a 3500 PSI Extended Run pressure washer featuring a 13-horsepower, Honda GX 390 engine and a 5-gallon gas tank that allows longer run-time between fills. All three Professional models come with quick connect couplers, goggles, oil and a 50-foot, steel-rubber hose, which reduces the need for hose extensions.
The new units will be available in home centers, warehouse clubs and farm stores this spring.
