Cobra to Preview New Line of microTALK Two-Way Radios
Nov. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cobra Electronics announced today that it will introduce its 2004 line of microTALK GMRS/FRS radios at the 2004 Consumer Electronics Show (CES). Cobra will introduce three models with a variety of range choices and popular features that will continue to appeal to many consumers, from parents to outdoor enthusiasts. Distinctive clamshell packaging will complement the contemporary design of the radios and distinguish the microTALK line at retail.
"After winning a Popular Mechanics 'Editor's Choice' award last year, we know we have to continue to raise the bar in terms of performance and style," said Tony Mirabelli, senior vice president of marketing and sales for Cobra Electronics. "By introducing new radios and improving upon features such as range, we're appealing to both a new generation of users, as well as those that have bought two-way radios in the past."
The new two-way radios will be available at major electronics retailers beginning in Q2 2004, but CES attendees will get a first look at the products in January. Cobra's complete 2004 GPS, GMRS, radar detector and marine product lines will all be unveiled at the 2004 Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas, January 8 - 11, at Booth #10506 in the Central Hall.
