Cingular Adds Fujifilm Get the Picture Online Mobile Service

September 13, 2005 – Fuji Photo Film U.S.A., Inc today announced that Cingular Wireless is adding Fujifilm’s Get The Picture Mobile service to its product set. This easy, convenient and fun-to-use photo management and printing solution was created in conjunction with Summus, Inc., a leading provider of mobile media applications. The application enables Cingular customers to order prints directly from their handsets and pick them up at a local retailer in as little as an hour.*

This announcement follows the recent release of a camera phone behavior study by NPD Techworld that finds that a dramatic 44.6 percent of camera phone owners admit that they have taken images that they wished they had printed.

This appears to point to great potential for mobile imaging and photo processing markets as camera phone penetration in the U.S. has increased nearly 200 percent since 2004, with camera phones currently in nearly 22 percent of households (from 7 percent in 2004), according to NPD Techworld. Fujifilm continues to match innovative technology with key wireless, software and retail partners to help the industry tap into this potentially lucrative addition to the digital imaging market.

Cingular users only need to have Cingular Wireless service and one of the 60 compatible Cingular phones available. They can access both applications directly from the Photo Services menu under “Tones & Pictures� on MEdia Net. Cingular customers can purchase the Get The Picture photo service for $2.99 per month, in addition to their current service plan.

Mobile Postcards Application Upgraded
In addition, the Mobile Postcard application offered by Cingular has been improved to provide a more simplified and flexible interface. Mobile Postcards is the first-of-its-kind, photo-postcard application that allows Cingular customers to use their camera phones to create personalized Fujifilm photo postcards and send them to anyone in the country via U.S. mail – directly from the following Motorola phones: V220, V400, V551, V600 and the V3 RAZR. The cost for creating and mailing a postcard is only $1.99 each, including postage. The updated application enhances the on-the-go lifestyle of camera phone users via:

• A wizard-style tool that allows the creation of a postcard in just a few, easy steps
• An increased portfolio of postcard templates displayed via larger thumbnails for easier viewing and greater personalization capabilities
• A new auto-address look-up that minimizes typing needed by identifying addresses via phone number look-up, and auto-fill city/state information via zip code
• A new “Recent Addressesâ€? format that allows users to make multiple postcards in a single session
