BAM! Entertainment Unveils its Cartoon Network Titles at E3

May 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- BAM! Entertainment today announced it will unveil its expanded portfolio of Cartoon Network titles during the industry's largest trade show. Continuing on the success of BAM!'s previous Cartoon Network games, these new additions will include The Powerpuff Girls on next generation consoles -- The Powerpuff Girls: In a Pickle for PlayStation 2 and The Powerpuff Girls: Shock of Ages for GameCube. Samurai Jack makes its gaming debut on Game Boy Advance with Samurai Jack The Amulet of Time, Dexter's Laboratory: Chess Challenge for Game Boy Advance, and The Powerpuff Girls: Gamesville for the personal computer will also be showcased. "The Cartoon Network license has incredibly broad appeal among both core and casual gamers. With a cartoon line-up that is viewed throughout the world, there is a great deal of awareness and excitement for the brands," said Bernard Stolar, President and Chief Operating Officer of BAM! Entertainment. "We are particularly pleased to be launching the first Samurai Jack video game, while also taking The Powerpuff Girls license to the growing next-generation audience."

Samurai Jack, a highly stylized cartoon, is the ingenious creation of Genndy Tartakovsky of Dexter's Laboratory. Samurai Jack: The Amulet of Time, being developed by Bolton-based studio Virtucraft, closely follows the cartoon's dynamic storylines and replicates its unique style of animation.

"We are thrilled with the earlier results that BAM! has achieved for our properties on the Game Boy Advance, PlayStation One and personal computer," said Jamie Porges, Vice President of Off Channel Commerce at Cartoon Network. "Taking Samurai Jack to the interactive entertainment arena only adds to the excitement, as the cartoon fits perfectly with the video gaming audience."

The Powerpuff Girls: In a Pickle for PlayStation 2, The Powerpuff Girls: Gamesville for the personal computer, Samurai Jack The Amulet of Time on Game Boy Advance, Dexter's Laboratory: Chess Challenge for Game Boy Advance are scheduled to ship this fall.
