BAM! Entertainment Ships World Rally Championship

March 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- BAM! Entertainment (NASDAQ:BFUN) today announced that it has begun shipping WRC: World Rally Championship for PlayStation 2 to North American retailers this week. Thanks to an agreement with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe made earlier this year, BAM! Entertainment obtained the rights to bring the popular rally racing title to the North American market. The game is rated E for Everyone and will be available at an estimated retail price of $49.99. Developed by Evolution Studios for Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, WRC: World Rally Championship has already received rave reviews from the gaming press. WRC: World Rally Championship includes all of the official teams and cars of the World Rally Championship 2001 season as well as the locations of the real WRC event, including 14 rally races across the world.

WRC: World Rally Championship's more than 81 tracks are taken from the real 2001 FIA WRC rally stages and are set in gigantic picturesque environments populated with cheering fans, roving cameramen and roaming wildlife; while cars can pick up dust, mud and snow and receive collision damage, ranging from shattered windows to torn-off bumpers. The extensively detailed 3D cockpits and drivers are animated by fully inverse kinematics for a true-to-life representation, and more than 40 elements of each car have been accurately modeled to determine their individual physics.
