Antz Extreme Racing Speeds To a Store Near You
Sept. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Empire Interactive, Vivendi Universal Games and L.S.P. today announced Antz Extreme Racing is now available on retail shelves for gamers of all ages to enjoy. The videogame features DreamWorks' lovable characters from its blockbuster movie, Antz. Developed by SuperSonic Software Ltd., Antz Extreme Racing is retailed at the suggested price of $29.99 for the Xbox video game system from Microsoft and $19.99 for the PlayStation2 computer entertainment system and PC. Antz Extreme Racing has an ESRB rating of "E" (Everyone).

Antz Extreme Racing is a fast-paced racing game based around the characters created in the hit computer animated movie Antz. This unique action game has four very different types of racing transportation: driving, flying, leaf boarding, and running. Gamers play a single "ant" competing in a colony of 10 million other ants. The goal of the game is to rise through the ranks to be the "number one ant" by competing in four diverse race categories. Each ant will have its own championship path consisting of 15 to 25 separate challenges. As championships are won, players can then choose from additional ant characters to play. There are six different Antz available, for a total of 80 challenges.
