All Images Uploaded and Accepted to Fotolia in February Will Receive Money

February 2, 2005 - Fotolia (www.fotolia.com), the global online social marketplace for digital stock images is kicking off February with an aggressive rewards promotion for all images that are uploaded and accepted by Fotolia. More than any other stock photo site, Fotolia is continuously working to offer artist-focused benefits, in an ongoing effort to attract new talent and expand its already extensive database of images.

Starting on February 1st and ending on February 28th, each image that is accepted by the Fotolia Editing Team will receive US$0.20 for that image. There is no maximum amount of images that can be uploaded. All revenue earned by Fotolia images will be deposited into the members account and can be cashed out using PayPal. Members can cash out their accounts at anytime in the minimum of US$2.

In participating with this promotion, images are required to stay on the Fotolia site for 1 year but are not required to have any kind of exclusivity, allowing them to be uploaded onto additional stock sites. The artists uploading these images are earning money just by using Fotolia; it is also increasing their portfolio internationally and has the opportunity to earn more money from image sales.

"Artists have nothing to lose and everything to gain by joining our growing community. The free membership, easy and accessible means for uploading and selling images -- while maintaining copyrights, and understanding that the stock photography community can be treated like a marketplace and business for photographers and designers is what sets us apart," stated Oleg Tscheltzoff, President and Co-Founder of Fotolia.

Launched in early November 2005, Fotolia's digital image marketplace already has acquired more than 320,000 images in its database and 30,000 international members.
