Agfa Offers Special Promotions on Vista Film and Single-use Cameras

May 15, 2001 — Agfa Consumer Imaging yesterday announced a series of special film promotions for its new Vista film family and Agfa Single-use Cameras. The new promotions include:

• A summer promotion featuring Agfa Vista 200 35mm 6-packs,
• A Vista Introductory Special discount on all Vista film and Agfa single-use cameras ordered by July 15th, and
• A new amateur film program for independent retailers offering the best film discounts Agfa has to offer on standard assortment amateur film and single-use cameras.

“Summertime is photo time, especially this summer with the introduction of our new Agfa Vista films,” said Elaine Mosera, Agfa Product Manager – Film. “The Vista films produce highest quality results, our special promotions assure our retailers higher margins on our film products and their consumers will save money on specially priced 6-packs this summer.”

Mosera pointed out that the Vista films included in the 2001 Summer Promotion feature Agfa’s new Eye Vision technology that modifies sensitization of the emulsions to more accurately reflect the perception of color by the human eye. “Consumers will be amazed by the lifelike quality of their prints,” she said.

With the Agfa Summer Promotion, which will run through July 31, Agfa film dealers across the country will receive discount prices for the 6-packs, unique counter displays to hold the eye-catching hexagonal 6-pack packages, and substantial additional savings on the Vista LeBox go! single-use cameras.

The Vista Introductory Special offers an additional 5% saving on every Vista film and single-use camera purchased. Retailers can mix and match 35-mm Vista film, including Vista 4-packs and single-use cameras through the run of the special.

And, the new Amateur Film Program, effective May 14th, offers new discounts off list prices depending on the order volume. Minimum order amounts for the various price levels also include purchases of Agfa Professional Films, Papers and Chemicals.
