This holiday season, owners of Cisco's Flip Video camcorders are getting a little gift with a free Flipshare software update. The update will allow you to create and send greeting cards to friends and even record a personal message and load it onto one of the holiday greeting card templates. And for even more greeting card fun, Flip Video has a new Facebook Video Greeting Card App which allows you to load any video (not just a Flip video!) into a holiday greeting card to share with your Facebook friends. But it's not all about the greeting cards -- the latest version of Flipshare also features improved private sharing tools, including a private community page where you can share videos with friends and family -- and share comments on your favorites. The update also allows you to import contacts from your online email accounts (AOL, Google, Hotmail, Yahoo).

More than forty greeting card designs are included in the new Flipshare software, with Christmas, Hanukkah, Birthday, Anniversary and Thank You designs -- with more being added throughout the year. After selecting your favorite card, just type in your own message to go along with your Flip video and email it to your friends. Easy!

The new FlipShare software will come pre-loaded on all new Flip Video cameras beginning December 15, 2010. Flip owners who already have FlipShare installed on their PC or Mac will automatically be prompted to download the upgraded version. The new Facebook Video Greeting Card App is available today at no cost at www.facebook.com/flipvideo.

Flip is known for their portable, easy-to-use camcorders and now they have introduced a device that makes it easy to share the videos captured by your Flip on your TV. With the FlipShare TV you can watch your entire Flip Video library wirelessly on your television, including videos other have shared with you in your Flip Channels.

The FlipShare TV Base connects to your TV via composite or HDMI cables, and your computer through a USB Key. Simply plug them in and you can watch your Flip videos stored on your computer wirelessly. It's as easy as that!

A new Flip Video pocket camcorder just store shelves, the "premium" Flip MinoHD. With a new design, larger screen and double the memory of its predecessor, this pocket cam can now record up to 2 hours of HD video.

Also, the new MinoHD includes the latest version of FlipShare software which can upload videos directly to Facebook. It has a bright two-inch transflective screen for no-glare viewing (even in direct sunlight), and features an HDMI jack.

The new 8GB Flip MinoHD is priced at $229. They have also lowered the price of the original Flip MinoHD (4GB - one hour of recording time) to $199. The standard Flip Mino sells for $149.

Flip Video just announced its new FlipShare software that makes sharing personal videos from your Flip camcorder easier than ever. With FlipShare you can publish your own personal video channels online with Flip Channels, as well as upload to MySpace and YouTube.

The new Flip Channels feature lets you share Flip content with the people you choose. Once you create a Flip Channel, their personal Flip Channels can be viewed online at FlipShare.com or on any iPhone (with the new FlipShare for iPhone app, available soon).
