This holiday season, owners of Cisco's Flip Video camcorders are getting a little gift with a free Flipshare software update. The update will allow you to create and send greeting cards to friends and even record a personal message and load it onto one of the holiday greeting card templates. And for even more greeting card fun, Flip Video has a new Facebook Video Greeting Card App which allows you to load any video (not just a Flip video!) into a holiday greeting card to share with your Facebook friends. But it's not all about the greeting cards -- the latest version of Flipshare also features improved private sharing tools, including a private community page where you can share videos with friends and family -- and share comments on your favorites. The update also allows you to import contacts from your online email accounts (AOL, Google, Hotmail, Yahoo).

More than forty greeting card designs are included in the new Flipshare software, with Christmas, Hanukkah, Birthday, Anniversary and Thank You designs -- with more being added throughout the year. After selecting your favorite card, just type in your own message to go along with your Flip video and email it to your friends. Easy!

The new FlipShare software will come pre-loaded on all new Flip Video cameras beginning December 15, 2010. Cisco has updated its Flip UltraHD and Flip MinoHD line of camcorders with a new design and improved HD video quality. The new Flip Video camcorders now feature image stabilization and 720p resolution at 60 frames per second. They also come pre-loaded with a new version of FlipShare software which now lets you post directly to Twitter, as well as Facebook and YouTube.

Flip also announced Designed for Flip, a new program offering accessories from partners that include everything from wide angle lenses and external microphones to battery chargers and a portable projector.

The new Flip UltraHD now comes in two models (1 hour, 4GB and 2 hour, 8GB) and for the first time, the UltraHD line can be personalized through the Flip Online Store. Cisco just announced a brand new Flip camcorder with a cool, new design – the Flip SlideHD. You can record up to four hours of HD video on the camcorder, and then view it on its slide-up 3-inch widescreen display. The device also allows you to store up to 12 hours of videos, photos, and content from Flip channels; features a touch screen; and is the first Flip with real-time video sharing.

The SlideHD is pre-loaded with FlipShare software for organizing, creating, and sharing your videos. Using your computer (PC or Mac), your Flip video content can be uploaded and shared instantly with friends on Facebook, YouTube and other social media sites.

A new Flip Video pocket camcorder just store shelves, the "premium" Flip MinoHD. With a new design, larger screen and double the memory of its predecessor, this pocket cam can now record up to 2 hours of HD video.

Flip Video just announced its new FlipShare software that makes sharing personal videos from your Flip camcorder easier than ever. With FlipShare you can publish your own personal video channels online with Flip Channels, as well as upload to MySpace and YouTube.

The new Flip Channels feature lets you share Flip content with the people you choose. Once you create a Flip Channel, their personal Flip Channels can be viewed online at FlipShare.com or on any iPhone (with the new FlipShare for iPhone app, available soon).

The new version of FlipShare software will begin shipping as the on-board software for all Flip Video camcorders today (June 16, 2009). The company's new Flip UltraHD features two hours of recording time, a two-inch screen, 1280 x 720 resolution, 8GB memory, 2 x digital zoom and battery recharging through its built-in USB arm.
