Fujifilm Announces New Compact Long-Zoom F-Series

New Compact, Feature-Loaded F-Series Offer Improved EXR-CMOS Sensor, Long-Zoom and Exceptional Low-Light Performance

January 5, 2012 – FUJIFILM North America Corporation today announced three new additions to the high-end, compact long-zoom FinePix F-Series lineup that combine speed, intuitive use and advanced features: the FinePix F770EXR with GPS, F750EXR and the F660EXR. These sleek, compact digital cameras all feature a newly improved 1/2” 16 MegaPixel EXR-CMOS sensor that delivers superior image quality and performance, especially in low light situations. The F770EXR with GPS and the F750EXR both use a new FUJINON 20x Wide-Angle long-zoom lens (25-500mm) to produce exceptional images, and also feature Intelligent Digital Zoom that effectively doubles zoom capability, and an ultra-clear 3.0” high contrast 460K resolution LCD. Fujifilm Unveils New FinePix Z900 EXR

Fujifilm added a new digital camera to its Z-series line, the FinePix Z900 EXR. The Z900 EXR comes packed with a 16-megapixel EXR CMOS sensor, a FUJINON 5x wide angle refractive optical zoom lens (28-140mm equivalent) and a 3.5-inch, 16X9 touch screen LCD display.

Features include a new EXR Auto mode that recognizes 27 scenes, one-touch access to 1080p HD movie capture and an intuitive Dual Direction GUI with "tap and shoot" capabilities for fast image tagging with automatic upload to YouTube and Facebook.

The camera captures full 1080p HD movie files (.MOV) in stereo at 30fps with H.264 compression, and has a mini-HDMI output for viewing images/videos on your HDTV (HDMI cable not included).Read more

With just a quick glance at this retro-styled camera, you might think it is from Leica. But no, this is the latest premium digital camera from Fujifilm - the FinePix X100. Fujifilm Rolls Out New FinePix Digital Cameras

The camera folks have sure been busy lately. We just told you about Panasonic's five new LUMIX digital cameras, and now Fujifilm has announced new FinePix digital cams - the F300EXR, Z800EXR, S2800HD and JX280.

Measuring just 23 mm thick, Fujifilm's new FinePix F300EXR features a 12-megapixel EXR super CCD, 15x Fujinon Super Wide-Angle lens (24mm – 360mm equivalent) and has a 3.0" 460K LCD. The camera shoots HD video at 720p.

The F300EXR also has a Hybrid High Speed Auto Focus system which uses both Phase Detection AF and Contrast AF. The camera automatically selects the better focus system by measuring the amount of light or contrast in the scene, allowing for super-fast auto focus speeds.Read more
