New Magazine Devoted to the Luxury Pet Market Launches

March 10, 2005 -- Paw Luxuries Magazine, the only magazine devoted to the world high-end pet products and luxury pet services, has launched with its spring 2005 issue. The publication consists of more than 55 new upscale pet products for the spring season, interviews with pet pamperers and designers, features about five-star travel, doggie diets, and a look at animal’s standing in society.

“I’m really happy to see a publication focusing on the booming high-end market,” Paw Luxuries Publisher Lauren Halperin said. “Consumers are fascinated with the upscale and trendy side of the market and I feel the magazine definitely fills a niche that pet owners are intrigued with.”

Halperin has already been interviewed by Dateline NBC for an upcoming episode focusing on extreme pets. Paw Luxuries is also the sponsor of the Silver Spoon Dog and Baby buffet, an A-list only event where celebrities with pets and babies are invited to view the latest products.

In early March, Paw Luxuries Magazine celebrated its launch with the 17th Annual Walk for the Animals, which benefited the Broward County Humane Society in South Florida. Paw Luxuries raised and donated over $1,000 for the cause as well as raffled off items donated by pet manufacturers.
