Hasbro is scaaarrryyy!!! (in a good way)
Hasbro has been working hard this past year to make sure the latest and greatest is on store shelves for our kids this Holiday season. I can remember all of these products from when I was a kid, and they have only gotten better in quality. You should definitely stop by the toy aisle and see for yourself the next time you are shopping … here is a quick roundup of what you will see:
For Halloween there is the Mr. Potato Head Trick or Tater. This is a timeless classic, and I was recently able to introduce this Mr. Potato Head to my two year old, who now carries it everywhere... even though we have lost one of Mr. Potatoe Head’s arms! The eyes on this version glow in the dark, and I think this is a great way to introduce children to the Halloween tradition of dressing up in costume! The MSRP on this version of Mr. Potato head is $4.99.
Just the smell of Play-Doh brings back childhood memories… sniff. The Hasbro Play-Doh Ghost and Pumpkin Character Two-Pack are great alternatives to candy for gifts to those neighborhood kids. You can add the Play-Doh Halloween Bag Assortment to your trick or treat giving, and feel good that you are not giving away candy. What kid does not like Play-Doh? The two-pack has an MSRP of $1.99 and the Assortment bag is $3.99 for 20 one-ounce cans.
To celebrate Halloween in fun storybook form, I suggest you grab a My Little Pony storybook! My Little Pony: The Perfect Pumpkin Storybook and the Trick N’ Treat…Friends are Sweet Sticker book will surely make any kid smile, and get excited about Halloween. Suggested retail price is $6.99.
My five year-old boy will be Optimus Prime this Halloween! Who doesn't like the autobots? After all, it is the Transformers who saved planet earth from the Decpeticons. Hasbro has not forgotten about the Bumblebee costume either, and at a suggested retail price of $19.99 - $39.99 you should consider these for your little trick or treaters.
