Buying a Baby Jogger

Baby Jogger IIWhat features should you look for in a baby jogger? You've got to find one that is comfortable for you to use! That way you have a better chance of using it regularly and getting your money's worth out of the jogger. Plus, you should take your child with you when shopping and see how they fit in the seat. Is the baby collapsed or supported? Does he or she like it? Is this a feasible idea? Most manufacturers have made sure they are providing safe transportation for children, so your main concerns should be:
  • How is the handle height? Do I have to crunch forward to hold it? Or can I assume my usual jogging posture and run comfortably?

  • How good are the wheels and bearings? Do the wheels roll easily? Is there a hesitancy or jerkiness in the ride? How easy is the push?

  • How durable is the fabric? Can it withstand hundreds of miles of use? Is the stitching reinforced? What are the weight limitations? How big a child can be safely placed in the jogger?

Baby joggers are liberating for many parents, enabling us to enjoy outdoor workouts while also spending time with our family. I believe they also make true vagabonds out of our kids!
