Epson Introduces Two Ultra Short Throw Projectors

Nov. 4, 2009 – Epson today unveiled its ultra short throw projectors – the Epson PowerLite 450W and Epson PowerLite 460, providing educators with bright projection, versatile viewing dimensions and easy-to-install solutions that fit their budgets. Designed to meet the growing demand for wall-mounted projectors, these models include hardware for quick, easy and inexpensive installation. Epson Launches the Super-Bright PowerLite Pro ZZ8000WUNL Projector

Epson just announced that their brightest projector to date, the PowerLite Pro Z8000WUNL, is now shipping to pro audio/video dealers and installers.

While this projector is designed for use in large venues such as auditoriums, we found it newsworthy for a couple of reasons – first, this projector delivers 6,000 lumens color light output and 6,000 lumens white light output and is the industry's only 3LCD WUXGA projector. Secondly, Epson delivers quality products. We have been fans of Epson's projectors, printers and scanners for years…and they haven't let us down yet.

The PowerLite Pro Z8000WUNL delivers 6,000 lumens color light output and 6,000 lumens white light output and features 1920 x 1200 native resolution, up to 5000:1 contrast ratio, an innovative liquid cooling system, durable optical chips, and a dual-lamp design. Epson PictureMate Charm - an Affordable, Portable Photo Printer

The PictureMate Charm is the newest portable 4"x6" photo printer in Epson's PictureMate line. Featuring a 2.5-inch LCD for one-touch printing with or without a computer, built-in memory card slots, and the ability to print wirelessly from camera cell phones via optional Bluetooth adapter, the Charm is …well…a charm of a portable printer! It also delivers smudge, scratch and water resistant photos that last up to four times longer than film-processed photos.

Tools are also included to crop photos, remove red eye, and change the photo color to black and white, sepia or color - right from the printer, with no computer needed. Pictures are then printed using Epson's PictureMate Print Packs, which include ink and either 150 sheets of 4"x6" glossy paper or 100 sheets of 4"x6" matte paper.
