
It's time to dust off your scooter, skates, boards, bike's and helmet for
some outdoor fitness, but check your helmet first!
The Good Housekeeping Institute conducted a recent study of bike helmets, the
results revealed that several helmets on the market failed to meet safety
standards mandated by the federal government.
(They don't offer proper protection from serious head injuries.)
So before you or your kids head out the door for a spin on your bike, check
the Consumer Product Safety Commissions (CPSC) massive helmet recall to make
sure you're helmet didn't flunk it's basic safety tests.

Troxel's Women's Proaction Illusion II was not recalled, but it failed the
Good Housekeeping Institute's tests.
