Word's Smallest GPS Locator Phone Shown at CTIA 2005

March 14, 2005 -- Wherify Wireless, Inc. is showcasing its award-winning Wherifone G550R GSM/Enhanced-GPS Locator Phone at 2005 CTIA in New Orleans. Weighing only 2.5 ounces and about the size of a business card, the Wherifone is the world's smallest GSM Locator Phone. The Wherifone combines GSM voice technology and precision on-demand Enhanced-Global Positioning Satellite (E-GPS) technology enabled by Wherify to provide emergency 911 and other location services that will bring added safety and peace-of-mind for families with children and persons of special needs, and seniors.

The Wherifone will be available in the United States starting in the Spring of this year via a combined service offering with MedicAlert. With six million members, MedicAlert is the world's largest non-profit emergency services and medical information membership organization. Wherify is teaming to provide MedicAlert members with a bundled service plan that would include the Wherify location service and the MedicAlert safety/emergency medical information service.

The Wherifone will be demonstrated at the Wherify booth, #1661 at CTIA 2005 (March 14-16), 2005 in the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, and at the Official CTIA Press Reception on Sunday, March 13th, 2005.

"Wherify's enhanced GPS location capability, fully integrated into a GSM cellular phone, overcomes a critical shortcoming within the cellular industry and sets a new performance bar for managed location services," said Timothy Neher, CEO and Founder of Wherify Wireless. "The Wherifone will enhance family safety, and given our service and design focus, we feel that it could also substantially increase cellular penetration in two key demographic groups -- pre-teens and seniors."

About The Wherifone
Whether used as a "First Phone" for pre-teens or as a "Companion Phone" for the seniors or special needs family members, the Wherifone provides affordable peace-of-mind to the modern mobile family. The slim, small and lightweight Tri-Band GSM cell phone (900/1800/1900 Europe and 850/1800/1900 US) weighs under 70 grams and features incoming and outgoing calling, five programmable buttons for one touch dialing, a built-in two-way speakerphone, a headset jack, and a backlit LCD display for use with numeric paging. The five one-touch dialing buttons and absence of a traditional dial pad helps parents and caregivers manage the expense of out-going calls, and provides ease-of-use for children and seniors. The cell phone is supported by Wherify's Global Location Service Center which can be accessed 24 X 7 by telephone or the Internet to retrieve a Wherifone's precise location using Enhanced-GPS technology, which can be plotted on both street maps and aerial photographs. Wherify's patented integration of digital wireless and global positioning technologies provides an unprecedented level of location performance that does not require satellite line-of-sight, and can pinpoint a device's location with a high degree of accuracy inside most vehicles, homes or offices.

Small businesses can also use the Wherifone to manage and communicate with mobile workers, and to manage the location of small fleets of trucks or delivery vehicles and coordinate dispatch destinations with drivers. The preprogrammed one-touch dialing buttons also help the small business owner manage communications expenses. The absence of a traditional dial pad prevents workers from using the Wherifone for personal calls and incurring unauthorized expenses, while at the same time insuring they can make necessary calls to up to five pre-defined locations.
