GoTV Launches PurePhat Within Its Mobile Television Lineup
March 2005 – GoTV (formerly 1KTV), the innovative, on-demand mobile television network, just announced the unveiling of PurePhat, the world’s first mobile TV service dedicated to the hip-hop lifestyle, for mobile phones. PurePhat, a new mobile channel that provides on-demand, up-to-the-minute hip-hop news, music, and specials will debut on all major carriers, including SprintPCS, Nextel and Cingular, beginning April 1st.
PurePhat is an exciting new mobile channel that provides the latest hip-hop news, including music, video, underground, battles and fashion, designed specifically for the urban lifestyle. This innovative channel is the first of its kind to be available on mobile phones. PurePhat will appear across Music, Entertainment, and News in GoTV’s mobile video offering.

GoTV is available on SprintPCS, Cingular, and Nextel and comes pre-loaded on Nextel’s Motorola handsets.
