HP just announced the new HP DreamScreen. A wireless connected screen, HP says that it will become "the 'fourth screen' in people's lives, extending the enjoyment of digital content beyond a computer, TV and mobile phone."

The HP DreamScreen allows you to stay current with Facebook friends, listen to Internet radio, share Snapfish photos and enjoy music from your home networked PCs. It has 2GB of memory, 802.11 b/g connectivity, and a card reader. Digital content can be loaded using a USB drive or flash memory cards. Photos and music can be streamed wirelessly or moved to the HP DreamScreen by simply dragging and dropping from a networked PC. Read more

The Vue personal video network is a multi-camera system that lets you create your own video network and delivers live video wirelessly for you to see and share from your computer or flash-enabled mobile device.

The Vue system is a network of small, battery-powered wire-free cameras. The cameras stream real-time video directly to the Internet, viewable on most browsers. A low-power technology called FrameMesh allows the cameras to operate for up to a year without changing the battery.

HP Unveils New Notebooks, Mini PCs

HP just rolled out several new notebook computers, including one with the industry's first 3-D PC surface technology. New to the line-up is the HP Mini 110 by Studio Tord Boontje, the HP ENVY, the HP Pavilion dm3 entertainment notebook, and the HP ProBook 5310m, the world's thinnest full-performance notebook.

The HP Mini 110 by Studio Tord Boontje weighs in at only 2.68 pounds and is just over an inch thin. Features include a 10.1-inch, mercury-free LED display and a 92 percent of full-size keyboard. The HP Mini 110 also is the first to have HP Imprint 3-D, a 3-D PC surface technology. Multiple layers of art on the top cover of the Mini appear to float on the surface while casting shadows onto lower layers to brings depth to the patterns.

A Windows Live Writer desktop icon is included for blogging and fast access to social networking sites. Dell Rolls Out New Studio XPS Desktops

Dell just launched the new Studio XPS 8000 and Studio XPS 9000 desktop computers built with gamers and multimedia enthusiasts in mind. The Studio XPS includes Intel's newest desktop processors - the Core i5 Quad Core and Core i7 Quad Core, Integrated 7.1 high-definition surround sound, Optional Blu-ray Disc and Blu-ray Disc burner, and Optional 3D capabilities.
