Watch and Record TV On Your Computer and Save Video Files

WinDVR 2 lets users record TV shows to their PC's hard drive for future viewing and automatically compresses programs into MPEG-2 video files (the same technology as DVDs) or MPEG-1 (near VHS quality video) to save valuable hard drive space. WinDVR 2 also provides for VCD, SVCD and DVD compatible file outputs which can be used by video authoring tools, such as InterVideo's WinProducer 3, to edit and burn personalized DVDs and VCDs discs. All WinDVR-recorded files can be played back with InterVideo's WinDVD, Microsoft's Windows Media Player and other popular MPEG video playback products.
