Having content sent from the web to your watch is easy and completely customizable. For instance, you can go to Yahoo.com, select Yahoo! Mobile alerts and then choose what you want to know and when you want it sent to the watch.

For example, the Timex Internet messenger makes it easy and convenient to follow the market fluctuations of stock. You can receive notifications when your stock reaches predetermined highs and lows as well as updates of opening and closing prices.

Personalized news updates and headlines are also available. You can choose to receive information by subject matter, such as politics, business or science. You can also choose the region, whether it's local, national or international.

Sports enthusiasts can follow the teams and events of their choice, including updated scores during or after a game and other late-breaking sports news.

Other Internet content available for wireless transmission to the Timex Internet Messenger watch includes: local or national weather reports, horoscopes and auction alerts to stay on top of bidding.

The Timex Internet Messenger watch is also an alphanumeric pager. The watch has the capacity to receive and store up to 16 Internet e-mail, numeric or word messages. You can choose both the speed and direction of the messages as they scroll across the watches' display. There is also a choice of a silent vibrating alert or several musical chimes for notification when new messages have arrived.

The Internet Messenger watch also features FLEXtime. With FLEXtime, the watch automatically sets and maintains the precise time and date. In addition, it automatically adjusts for daylight savings time and time zone changes.
