T-Shirt Company Uses Web to Integrate Professional Design with Personal Imaging

November 18, 2005 -- What do you get when you combine the power of the internet with the personalized flair of a custom t-shirt business? One heck of a nice shirt, according to FanaticPrints, one of the nation's leading providers of image-enhanced theme t-shirts.

The idea for harnessing the internet as a tool in custom t-shirt design came earlier this year when company founders Bryan Spann and John Zercher noticed the proliferation of yellow ribbon magnets on cars and SUVs in their Dallas neighborhood. The yellow ribbon concept translated seamlessly into the t-shirt design market, and the internet provided the tool they needed to make it personal.

"It was pretty clear to us that people were searching for ways to support our troops," says Spann. "By creating a platform for customers to upload photos of their friends and family members who are serving overseas, we were able to offer t-shirts that literally put a face on the troops our yellow ribbons are supporting."

How does it work?
The FanaticPrints system is designed to be customer-friendly from start to finish. Customers simply logon to the company website at www.fanaticprints.com and select a t-shirt theme from a ready-made list of design templates. The customer uploads the photo they would like to appear on the shirt, and selects the appropriate shirt size and color. FanaticPrints then creates the shirt and ships it to the customer's doorstep.

In addition to military support themes, FanaticPrints' template list now includes theme options for police support, fire support, family events, holidays, and sports.
