Pinnacle Ships New Consumer Audio Software Products

April 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Pinnacle Systems today announced the immediate availability of its Pinnacle Clean and Pinnacle myMP3PRO software products. Both products were developed by Steinberg Media Technology AG, which was recently acquired by Pinnacle, and incorporate some of the same audio editing and effects technology found in Steinberg professional audio products. Available today through Amazon.com, Best Buy, Circuit City, CompUSA, Fry's Electronics, J&R Music and MicroCenter, Clean and myMP3PRO are aimed to help consumers manage, store, and enjoy their music from the past, present, and future.

A recent report by IDC research firm claims MP3 player shipments are expected to grow 30% annually. myMP3PRO combines high-quality MP3 encoding, audio editing, special effects, and CD burning in one package to give users incredible control over their music libraries.

Clean audio restoration software lets users turn their vinyl records and cassette tapes into high-quality MP3 files or burn them to CD using professional-quality restoration tools. Key product features include the ability to remove unwanted noise such as static, crackles, scratches, and pops from vinyl records and other recordings. Clean Plus combines Clean software with a high-quality phonograph preamplifier so consumers can connect their turntable directly to their PC to import music to the computer.
