With the new Dell Dimension 3000, you can do more than email, web browsing, and traditional productivity applications, as is the case with most entry level computers. The increased processing power allows you to enjoy things like digital music, photos, DVD and video playback -- easier (and cheaper) than ever before.
The Dimension 3000 features the Intel 865GV chipset, which supports the new Celeron D and Pentium 4 processors, and DDR memory up to 400MHz. Customers can choose from two Celeron and two Pentium 4 offerings:
Celeron D: model 320 and 330 (2.4GHz and 2.66GHz respectively)
Pentium 4: 2.80GHz/ 533MHz FSB and 3.0GHz/ 800MHz FSB
The starting price is only $549 (before any promotions) and includes: Celeron D 320 processor (2.4GHz), 256MB RAM, 40GB hard drive, 48x CD ROM, Integrated sound, Integrated video, Dell A215 speakers, Dell E773 17” monitor, Windows XP Home.
