October 2005 – Interactive Networks Inc. announced today the release of "Chat with Me Now", a new add-on for Outlook and Outlook Express that allows email recipients to start a voice, video and text Chat conversation with the email sender instantly.

Chat with Me Now automatically integrates a smart button into the user’s email signature that changes according to a user-set availability status. By clicking on this button, email recipients can instantly talk, see and chat with the user through a web-based application, based on Macromedia’s Flash technology.

Users don’t even need to register – Chat with Me Now makes communication effortless and easy: there is no learning required. With just one click, email recipients can already start chatting with senders who have the add-in without even downloading any software.

Furthermore, the smart button can be added to WebMail signatures (such as Hotmail or Yahoo!) as well as any Web pages where HTML can be inserted; this includes blogs, personal websites and even MySpace and Friendster profiles.
