Microsoft Wireless DesktopMicrosoft's new Wireless Desktop includes Microsoft's first Wireless Keyboard and new Wireless Wheel Mouse. Together, they deliver a complete set of integrated, clutter-free desktop hardware. The Wireless Desktop package features:
  • The Wireless Wheel Mouse, also sold separately, is designed to increase desktop comfort and efficiency. The Wireless Wheel Mouse includes accelerated scrolling features that enable smooth, faster navigation of long Web pages and documents.


  • The Wireless Keyboard allows users to experience one-touch access to Web services, e-mail and more. Functions linked to the keyboard's 10 Hot Keys are Back, Forward, Stop, Mail, Search, Favorite, Web Home, My Computer, Calculator and Sleep.


  • IntelliType Pro keyboard and IntelliPoint mouse software allow users to reassign mouse buttons to perform frequently used functions such as cut and paste, or personalize the keyboard to launch a preferred Web site.

The Wireless Wheel Mouse and Wireless Keyboard interact with a receiver via two-channel radio frequency technology. The two available channels and 250 unique identification codes help users avoid desktop clutter while experiencing performance up to six feet away from the receiver -- even if it is out of sight.
