Memorex Uses Latest Technology for RF6000 Wireless Keyboard and Optical

July 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Memorex Products, Inc., the industry sales leader of digital optical storage products, today announced the introduction of the Memorex RF6000 Wireless Keyboard and Optical Mouse. Developed with radio frequency technology, direct line of sight between the keyboard and receiver is not needed. The accompanying radio frequency wireless mouse uses optical technology for precision movement and is rechargeable, eliminating the additional cost of batteries. The included Mouse Port(TM) charging station provides a convenient place to dock the mouse when not in use. Parking the RF6000 mouse in the Mouse Port(TM) ensures that it always is fully charged.

The Memorex RF6000 is a two-channel radio frequency keyboard that functions at distances up to six feet. With 256 different identifications per channel, the opportunity for interference is significantly reduced. The keyboard's programmable "Hot Keys" control frequently used functions such as email, the Internet and multimedia. Programmability is also included in the RF6000 mouse, as three of the mouse's five buttons can be customized to the user's preference.

A revised electrical layout reduces battery consumption by more than half. The RF6000 keyboard battery can last for two to three months of normal use without being replaced.

The Memorex RF6000 Wireless Keyboard and Optical Mouse package also includes a removable soft-touch ergonomic wrist rest, charging station, AC power cord, driver CD with QuickStart installation guide and rechargeable batteries.
