HP Introduces Fastest Printers in the World

July 11, 2005 -- HP today announced the world's fastest home photo printer and all-in-one printer. Using breakthrough technology called scalable printing technology, these HP printers deliver record levels of speed in the home and office -- 4x6-inch photos in 14 seconds! The HP Photosmart 8250 Photo Printer and HP Photosmart 3310 All-in-One: Designed for the consumer who wants to quickly print batches of photos, unattended, in the convenience of their home. These industry-first printers, priced at $199 and $399 respectively, feature six individual ink cartridges and produce beautiful photos and crisp text at blazing speeds--4 x 6-inch photos in just 14 seconds for as little as 24 cents a print. Just in time for holiday shopping, the HP Photosmart 8250 Photo Printer is available this month via hpshopping.com and major retailers.

The HP Photosmart 3310 All-in-One will be available this fall. Portable printers with 5 x 7-inch prints and storage for 1,000+ photos HP introduced new portable photo printers under the new brand "HP Photosmart GoGo Photo Printer," creating the industry's broadest line of portable printers. The new line includes two industry firsts - the first compact photo printer capable of printing 5 x 7-inch photos, in addition to 4 x 6- inch and panorama prints, and the first compact photo printer on the market that can store a year's worth of photos (more than 1,000).

New models on the market include: The HP Photosmart 475 GoGo Photo Printer, priced at $279, features the versatility of 5 x 7-inch, 4 x 6-inch and panoramic photo printing. The HP Photosmart 420 series GoGo Photo Studio includes a camera and a printer with a dock, giving consumers a complete portable photo system and the ability to print photos in three steps - snap, dock, print. Pricing begins at $299.
