Gateway's new Solo 1450 notebook computer is a value at only $999. It delivers the latest technology, mobility, performance, and multimedia capabilities, along with a one-year warranty.Features include a choice of 15.0-inch or 14.1-inch high-resolution displays; Intel Pentium III or Celeron 1.2GHz Mobile processor; and 128MB of SDRAM, expandable to 512MB. Customers who want to enjoy games and music will appreciate the Solo 1450's Intel 4x AGP graphics along with their choice of DVD, CD-RW or DVD/CD-RW combo drive. The Gateway Solo 1450 is also available with Microsoft Windows XP, Home or Professional Edition, and Microsoft Works Suite 2001 or Office XP Small Business Edition.

Connectivity options include: optional integrated wireless using Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11b) technology, an integrated V.92 56K modem and integrated 10/100 Ethernet enable Gateway customers to stay connected.
