Compaq Offers New M720 CRT Monitor With Multimedia Base

today introduced the economical M720 CRT Monitor, featuring an innovative
multimedia base that provides a compact one-piece display solution for
convenient audio capability.
Ideally suited for education, government and business users, the M720's
multimedia base includes integrated speakers, saving space and reducing the
risk of theft. This configuration also reduces the number of wires around the
desktop, as the fully integrated speakers do not require an external power
source. In addition, the microphone and headphone jacks are located on the
front panel for easy access, and the monitor features line-in jacks for
connecting CD drives and other presentation devices.
With a 36 percent larger viewing area than a 15-inch monitor, the 17-inch
M720 monitor allows viewing of several screens at the same time without the
need to click back and forth between programs, and features a tilt and swivel
base for optimum readability. The M720 CRT Monitor has been tested for
frontward and backward compatibility on all leading desktops, notebooks and
workstations, and the monitor's carbon and silver color scheme makes it a
perfect compliment for Compaq Evo PCs and iPAQ desktops. The monitor is also
