Palm Makes Internet Personal and Portable With MyPalm Portal


Palm VIIx Palm just announced the public beta version of a new, personal portal for Palm VII series handheld users. The MyPalm portal takes the expanse of the Internet and organizes just the information needed and wanted onto users' Palm handheld computers. Information is displayed in a format sized to the handheld's screen for easy, clear and virtually instantaneous access. Handspring Visor Cell Phone


Handspring with VisorPhone Handspring, maker of the popular palm-based Visor electronic organizer, will offer an add-on module that converts its organizer into a cell phone. Using BellSouth's service, the cell phone attachment clips into the module port found on the back of the Visor handheld. Dell computer Ahhh yes, life’s pretty sweet with that high speed DSL line. But there is a glitch. The normal ISP dial up account can’t be used from any computer in the world. A DSL line connects to only one computer. The obvious solution would be to install a network to carry the line to every computer in the house.
