Verizon Wireless Launches Get It Now
Sept. 2002/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Verizon Wireless, the largest wireless service provider in the U.S., and the leader in mobile data, today announced the national launch of Get It Now from Verizon Wireless and that its customers can now access financial information by downloading Forbes.com Wireless. Powered by SmartServ Online, Inc. (Nasdaq: SSOLC), Forbes.com Wireless can be downloaded over the air onto Get It Now phones.
Forbes.com Wireless subscribers can easily access financial market data provided by SmartServ, including stock quotes, indexes and company news. Additional features include a symbol search tool and a customizable watch list, giving consumers the power to track up to 10 stocks directly from their mobile handsets.
Forbes.com Wireless is initially available on the Motorola 720 and Verizon Wireless Z-800 phones, each with full-color display, for $4.75 per month, and on other Get It Now phones as they become available.
Get It Now phones are available through more than 1,200 Verizon Wireless communications stores, at participating Radio Shack Stores or on the Web at http://www.verizonwireless.com.
