Tumi Introduces Personal Accessories for Holiday 2003


October 2003 – Just in time for the gift-giving season, Tumi, the world’s leader in prestige luggage and accessories, is introducing a 21-piece collection of desk, tabletop and personal accessories this fall. The collection features an array of gift items for the business executive, golf player, wine lover and world traveler.

The collection has been designed and developed with the customer in mind who has a high level of design sophistication. The collection is for both men and women and features many items that are suitable for gift-giving all year long. Alan Krantzler, Vice President of Product Management for Tumi explains, “The collection directly addresses the needs of a customer who is looking for both a well-designed and functional item. This collection is the beginning of a new direction for Tumi in terms of brand extension. Retail prices range from $15 for a magnifying glass to $70 for a travel clock radio. Personal items include a pocket knife, stainless steel wine bottle opener and golf diary and desk top accessories such as clocks, notepads and agendas round out the grouping. The collection will be available exclusively at Tumi stores nationwide and on Tumi’s website www.tumi.com.
